Roshni grew up in Houston, Texas, but spent most blistering summers in India playing with local kids and learning the language. As a second generation immigrant to the United States, getting an education was ingrained in her from day 1. It wasn’t even an option – it was mandatory.
She studied Economics and International Relations at Tufts University and law at the University of Houston. After practicing law in Houston for several years, she married Ankil in 2010 and moved to Southern California where she now practices. Her passions are children, education and animals (they all make her smile). After marrying Ankil, she joined H&A Charitable Foundation to contribute creatively and strategically for the future of BNB High School and beyond, to help with the legal side of things and photography! It’s easy to enjoy things when they’re handed to you, but when you have to fight for it, you enjoy it that much more. That’s how the people of India inspire her – they fight for what they want. She’s here to help give them the tools to keep on fighting.
